The grottos itself are beautiful however we waited almost two hours first in the line for tickets and then in the line for the cable car for about 15-20 minutes. One of my favorite spots in Israel that always inspired me and made me love the landscape, so peaceful, unique and on the border of Israel - just the edges of the land I love so much! The most beautiful waters in the world - visit if you get a chance!
The Lonely Planet made this out to be a lot more that i thought it was. The caves are interesting but not extensive and the whole site felt dated. The first set of ticket offices were closed but turns out you ignore this and simply go to the cable car.
It is just 10 minutes drive from Naharia. You can buy a ticket at the entrance. The north point of Israel. Amazing bay , you get there by cable car and than walk around. Do not miss the film,
I visited there a few times and always been the same, dirty, unorganized, expensive. Waiting on the line to get the tickets, lots of peeled pumpkin seeds and sunflower onthe floor, plastic water cups, paper sanck's and ice cream. blowed by the wind to the beach and the sea (shame).
