The Panorama 1453 is not so impressive outside but when you finally enter the Panorama Hall you will be amazed. Living history, the audio equipment rental was not so useful.
Must see for history lovers. Really easy to get there via tram as well. We had a mishap and ended up walking for a very long time before we got there but it was worth it! The most amazing thing about this museum is that they have a specific floor that you enter and you are surrounded by a panoramic... 更多
After many visits to Istanbul I only now made time to visit the Panorama 1453 museum - and what a wonderful experience. The whole design is stunning and really create the siege of Constantinople in a most realistic way. Take the T1 (Kabatas) Tram line and get off at the Topkapi Tram stop. Just walk up with the stairs and... 更多
This Museum is a 'must-do' for all tourists to Istanbul. It is one of the best modern attractions we have seen anywhere in the world. It simply 'blew' us away - "wow"!
This museum depicts the Ottoman siege and taking of Constantinople in 1453. I highly recommend renting the audio guide as it makes the panoramic experience more realistic. It was a Turkish national holiday on the day we visited so the place was packed especially with youth groups - bad in one way but great since many kids were dressed in... 更多
Accessible via tram. Know the history on cellar and ground floor. Do NOT miss to visit the top floor and be amazed. Second best museum after Swiss Natioanal Museum, according to me. Children will love the park area.
The centre piece of this exhibit is the dome shaped 3D panoramic painting which tells the story of the Siege of Istanbul in 1453. Apparently this style of panorama is unique. It is truly stunning and shows the events of the siege in graphic detail. From the viewing platform you are at the centre of the action. The rest of... 更多
Let me start by saying, that one should be aware of who is telling this story… (ceratin facts seem to be left out) that said - just walk through the first floor of the exhibition and go up to the Panorama museum main attarction: A 360 degree painting/instalation. It's great to walk around, to imagine and to make your own... 更多
Was so realistic and cool.... There was animation that made it cool real. The three dimensional painting made this spectacular view of the war look as if you were part of it.
