Visited Jennifer's Hamam in February 2015. It was my first trip to Istanbul with my girlfriend who has been there many times and we ducked into Jennifer's after a visit to The Blue Mosque. What a great shop. We spent almost an hour there and never felt pressured to buy. There were so many wonderful items in that shop we... 更多
We visited Jennifer's twice, once for ourselves, and then again for all of our gifts. Excellent quality towels and Pestamels. We shopped many other places for towels including major department stores here in Istanbul but Jennifer's quality was unmatched. Of course there are less expensive places to buy towels but be warned they are not even close in quality. Jennifer's... 更多
We heard about Jennifer's through Tripadvisor. All the great reviews made me want to go there. We found one of her stores but the guy working in the shop took us to the showroom. The showroom is so much more extensive and we easily found what we were looking for. Jennifer was on hand to give information and assist with... 更多
I visited Istanbul 3years ago and accidently discovered Jennifer's Hamam in Arasta Bazaar. It was like love at the first sight. Eveything you see and touch there are like Heaven. Bought myself a beautiful Navy Blue Shawl and it has been my soul mate ever since. Unfortunately i lost it a year after i went back to my country and... 更多
Mosque'd out we took off for some shopping in the Bazaar beside the Blue Mosque. We explored all the little shops but it was Jennifer's Hammam which appealed to us. There are two locations there but we wanted to see everything so went to the nearby showroom on three floors. There is a wide choice of various weights, designs and... 更多
We were taken to Jennifer's Hamam in the late afternoon after a long day of site seeing. She educated us about her towels and weaving as we sat in air conditioned comfort on a sofa in the largest of her three shops. Her towels are top quality, and the process to make such towels is nearly a lost art. Jennifer... 更多
I visited Istanbul for the first time in April 2015 and went to Jennifer's store upon a friend's recommendation. I could have spent hours there! The product assortment is endless--every colour, print imaginable--and the quality is like nothing else. Jennifer was extremely helpful (and patient as I combed through her entire collection!)--it took everything in me not to buy one... 更多
This is a must-visit destination in Istanbul. Jennifer is generous with her time and her towels are first-rate. What she is doing for the indigenous art of hand-weaving of items beyond carpet-making is also inspiring and very important. I could not recommend a visit to her store enough.
Leave the Blue Mosque and head towards the Sea and you'll come across a little shopping area called the Arasta Bazaar. Walk through the bazaar and look for a store with a Canadian flag. Jennifer Gaudet is from Alberta, Canada and has lived in Turkey for the past 7 years. She has done a great deal to preserve the skills... 更多
We came to Istanbul with friends, but came to Jennifer's store/showroom on the recommendation of former Embassy colleagues/friends, now working at the Consulate. You'll love Jennifer's store, staff, and you won't be able to make up your mind, so much to choose from! Her back story is even more interesting. Jennifer spent quite a lot of time with us, which... 更多
In April 2015, I visited Istanbul. As it was recommended by friends who live there, we went shopping for towels at Jennifer's Hamam. It was really fun! The salespeople are very helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel pressured to buy. Important to know that the prices are fixed. Since I returned home, I love using my towels. I only wished... 更多
We'd been told about Jennifer's Hamam before we left Edmonton, AB. We weren't really focused on buying towels while here but were curious about the shop. We went there, met Jennifer and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We were amazed at the variety and quality of products. We bought 2 beautiful... 更多
The lady at the information desk of my hotel told me that the place to visit in Arasta Bazaar was this shop. The staff was very helpful and the goods were first class. They have all sizes of towels, robes, scarves and bath mitts. It was a lot of fun to look at all the colors and for handmade towels... 更多
I had read so much about Jennifer and her business so it was wonderful to be actually in her multi level showroom. Staff are knowledgeable, informative and not pushy in any way. The towels are wonderful and we bought lots for gifts, along with a few for ourselves. Great experience and our first buys in Istanbul.
