This pagoda has some history and is just around the corner from the Hoa Lo Prison (aka the Hanoi Hilton). When I arrived I could hear chanting and when I looked inside there were probably 40 Sangha monks chanting. Small area but a pleasant and free attraction.
A lovely, quiet temple. If you're visiting the prison which is just up the road this is definitely worth a visit, especially following the gloom of the prison this is a peaceful heaven. There are still monks in the temple and plenty of locals coming in to worship. Depending on your level of religion it takes between 10-30 mins to...
A beautiful temple which is very peaceful once you enter. Not that big but very nice statues and ornaments here. Alot of locals using this temple for offerings and prayers. Still monks and nuns living here. Is called the Ambassadors pagode because in the earlier years it was a guesthouse for the ambassadors of the Budhist countries. Worth a stop..
