As my experience in Freetown and whole of Sierra Leone is beyond words, I always connect to Aberdeen Bridge as this was the gateway to the city of Freetown.. The day I reached and the day i left.
This area has a stunning stretch of beach. I was here in 2015 and it was quite dirty but things have improved and it is now a good place to walk or swim. I would be a bit more wary about walking along here at night on my own as there tend to be quite large groups of young men... 更多
Aberdeen is a beautiful coastal section of Freetown. I was told prior to Ebola, the coastline was full of shops, restaurants, and bars. But during Ebola, all business were shut down. Post Ebola, the Chinese have taken advantage and have started to develop high-end hotels and homes. It will be sad if the national cannot enjoy their own beautiful beachfront.
Aberdeen is a nice place to relax after a hard days work. where you feel the sea breeze sipping a glass of wine or a bottle of beer and listen to soft music...depending on the time of the day.
This place is worth visiting as it shows full grand of Atlantic ocean and the beach. Of course, it is not developed and without bathrooms but there's a few beach bars that can provide enough beer.

Aberdeen is a mix of almost everything. The beautiful LUMLEY BEACH and numerous bars and restaurants along this beach. IN additional in this area you have some good hotels and stay houses.
