I do recommend my friends local and abroad to take their time visiting this place. My time at this site was so exciting. I enjoyed the fresh air and natural green environment
A lovely place to walk and sit for a while to relax with some outstanding trees of great age. Also a great place to run early morning. Great to admire the surroundings and have time to unwind and relax. The weekends tend to get a little busy.
We visited on a weekday afternoon. The gardens cover quite a large area (58 hectares?) in a pleasant suburban part of Harare. The herbarium and National Parks Office are also on the same site. We did not see any new plantings. Sections of the park are mown. We saw two other visitors to the park on a fine sunny day,... 更多
Went here with new friends from work and their dog. Nice walk, lots of picnickers. I enjoyed the old trees and plantings, some with descriptions and botanical names. Still very beautiful and, a very nice walk.
A little disappointing, maintenance is minimal other than mowing central lawn areas. Two display buildings were locked and appeared not to have been open for some time. Saving grace was weekend I was there HIFA was having a classical musical and jazz festival at the adjacent university and I could hear jazz from one section of the park. An amateur... 更多

An enormous range of indigenous vegetation representing almost all of Zimbabwe's ecological zones. The restaurant seems to be on-again, off-again, but the gardens are a great spot for a... 更多
Its good for quiet time, tree viewing and picnics. The air is really fresh and it is refreshing to look at,walk and sit around the trees and fauna. Its $2 entry for locals and I think free for those over 65. It is one of those places you can also go to with your dog hey. It definitely needs sprucing up and basic... 更多
the place is quiet with only the sounds of birds. occasionally you can see individuals with their dogs. Even though it costs $2 for adults, its a good place to visit and you get more than the $2 you would have paid for. a restaurant offering good food is also available inside should you feel hungry.
We like coming here for a walk and for Geocaching. A bit run down really, and a bit more expensive for what it is. But it's nice enough for an hour or two. Picnic here is nice too.
