Right in Harare center next to Harare gardens, a pleasant visit, nice and quiet. Entrance fee 1 USD pp. Vusit takes approx 1 hour if you take your time.
Went to the gallery by 11am and stepped out by 1130. 2 of the sections were closed. The remaining rooms are large with a few oil paintings on the walls. Could be much more than what it is. It's only 1 USD to enter. Been open since 1991 and needs some renovations. The garden with some sculpture is nice and... 更多
There is good and enough scruptures for you to see and digest the knowledge or even put in your own ideas and see what the owner wanted to express.
My visit was during a fashion show and the service was wonderful. The venue had wonderful sculptures and artwork that was truly interesting. They also have a cute cafe downstairs.
It's only $1 entry fee, and while there wasn't much (a chicken community, elementary school display, and a few pieces by local artists) it was pleasant. There's a gift shop with many items, and the guards were quick to inform me that everything is for sale in the museum itself (and everything has a price listed with the title and... 更多
We walked to the gallery from our hotel. It was about a 20 minute walk. It's when you walk through the city you really experience the chaos, bedlam, friendliness but also the sad side to Harare. Harare could be one of the great African tourist destinations but so much is run down, and the crazy traffic and dirty walkways detract... 更多
I'm not a big fan of modern art, but I found the gallery quite tasteful. Doesnt take too long to go through. The design is great, minimalistic and open. Cafe is very comfortable as well. Nice garden around the back. Probably the nicest thing you can do in downtown Harare.
Lovely art gallery near Harare Gardens, very interesting to visit. The shop is also nice if you want to buy some Zimbabwean souvenirs. The coffee shop in the ground floor is also very attractive but it could be closed. I recommend to visit this art gallery
Zimbabwe's artists must have had a hard time of late but the National Gallery deserves credit for encouraging new work and new artists. There isn't that much to see - but there were a few striking works on the walls and the shop is a place to buy good quality prints, drawings, ceramics and printed cloths, with a stock that... 更多
