Awesome beach on the north side of Kauai, get there early before it gets crowded. The Napali cliffs make a gorgeous scenic backdrop. Good place for a swim.
The beach itself is pretty small, but not overly crowded. It is a beautiful place to watch the sunset. The downside is that a lot of people park here to hike the Kalalau Trail and so parking sucks, especially early in the day since most people head for the trail early. Thus, if you just want to check out the... 更多
We've seen some of the best sunsets ever at Ke'e Beach. One suggestion... if you just walk straight on to the beach, it's a nice place for a sunset. But if you walk a couple hundred yards up the beach to your right, the whole scene changes as the start of the Napali Coast come into view. That takes a... 更多
We went swimming there after we hiked the Kalalau trail. The conditions were too dangerous for snorkelling on that day, but there was a lifeguard and quite a few people enjoyed the warm water. Afterwards, we went for a walk along the beach and took some sunset pictures. It was my favourite beach to swim at during our week in... 更多
We arrived at around 4 pm, with the sunset at 6 pm (December). What an incredible sunset, and especially with the huge breaking waves. We felt bad that the surf was too high for snorkeling, but this has got to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You have got to visit this beach and especially if... 更多
Lovely sandy beach, protected by a riff and therefore also suitable for families. The surroundings (Napali coast) are lovely, too. The beach has rest rooms and showers.
This is the absolute end of the road on the north side. Parking here can be a little tricky and limited. Even if it seems like a little walk, grab that spot. The beach is long and soft golden sand. Snorkeling is ok, we didn't see a whole lot, but it's a lovely beach located right next to the start... 更多
Ke'e is the end of the 'civilized' access on the north road. Well worth a drive even if the surf is high in winter (which it was for our visit this time around). You can get to some amazing trail heads from here that connect into NaPali. This first week of November there was only 1 water access day (early... 更多
My husband has been snorkeling here before and says it is amazing. Sadly, there was a sign saying "No Snorkeling" due to high surf today 11/16. I think it must be high during this time of year. Maybe next time. Beach was lovely though.
Ke'e Beach was a wonderful surprise. The parking is tough and either you get there early or lucky to get a spot. The weather was perfect, water was clear and warm, and the fish and turtles were all over. Napali coast is simply breathtaking during the afternoon and sunset over the reef was a once in a lifetime. A must... 更多
