This was an amazing place to be! The view is spectacular. The Jesus statue even has holes in the hands and feet. You also get a nice little walk going up to the statue and back to the parking area.
To get to El Picacho, one can take a bus up from a place near the centro (just ask around). Entry is 25 lps to the garden and another 10 lps to the statue. The garden itself is absolutely fantastic with a Confucian garden and a philosophical garden, not to mention a man made Mayan(?) Pyramid. Views were great as... 更多
Definitely worth the trip. Amazing views of the city. Be prepared for a bit of a walk. You are required to park a bit away from the actual area of the statue. Best guess 1/4-1/2 mile from the statue and views.

Hiked up to El Christo de Picacho from Palmira. It's a nice 1.5-2h hike through relatively safe neighborhoods which is a great way to spend the afternoon. A pity that the park closes at 5p (ie. before sunset), as the sunset views over Tegus would certainly have to be amazing!
