The Cays are a great place to hang out. One of the most exoctic locations i have been to. The island is so small you cannot imagine. great places to snorkel as well... friendly locals who ll chat with you to tell you the history of the cays and great food. Its 20 min boat ride from the main Utila... 更多
When staying in Utila, we were 13 people from the dive center who rented Little Cay for one night. It´s an amazing place! Sandy beach, snorkelling and a really big house with lots of beds. So affordable if you are a bunch of people! Stop at the fish market on the way there to get some dinner. Nothing to do... 更多
Utila Cays is a 6 mile boat ride (about 20 minutes) from Utila Town. Once on the island there is literally nothing to do other than scuba dive. This means absolute relaxation!!! And on those days where you want to do something a little different you can take a boat back into Utila. The people are extremely friendly and the... 更多
On three out of four of our trips to Utila, we've spent time on the Cays. The islands are TINY (about an acre to an acre and a half each), quiet, and house a small fishing community of about 200 people. Pigeon Cay and Jewel Cay are connected with a bridge and are pretty much the same island. The locals... 更多
A great stay on the Jewel caye! A highlight of our trip to Honduras. Much preferred the vibe there to Utila. We stayed at Hotel Kayla-a perfect location. The locals were friendly and we felt very safe.Great snorkelling around the island. Went diving with Utila Cayes Diving-a very memorable experience! Highly recommended!
This island is ideal if you are looking for relaxed, diving experience. Healthy reefs, whale sharks, rays are common to see. Also known for the night experience at bars. Food and lodge are cheaper here than most Caribbean islands.
I honestly cant see a trip to Utila with out going to the cays for a day. Went with new friends and family and we had a blast just chilling in the shallow waters as well as snorkeling. Cant wait to go back.
These islands are a 20 minute boat ride from Utila, through the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean. These islands are fishing villages, where a small number of families make their livelihood from the sea. There are some very nice houses, parks, and churches on the islands.
The island is very small with the population crowding around the ferry dock. The parties and music start late and end yearly. The island is a hot spot for world travelers on a budget, divers, and partiers (who are many times all 3!). The views are spectacular, diving is far beyond your imagination, and the locals are typically friendly and... 更多
Slightly difficult to get to, but very worth it. Utila is a lovely little island with a mix of local flavor and expat additions. Not to mention the excellent diving that is to be done!
