Nice long haul on dirt roads, but worth every bump. Nice cool water and deep pools, can jump 10, 20 30 and 50 feet into the water.
Beautiful. getting down is a bit of an ordeal! Some steps but mostly trail and rocks. being 60 and at best in fair shape I made it, but just barely! Younger folks run up and down! great site and very popular with locals!
It's a pretty long, bumpy ride to the entry point and then a fairly steep hike down to the falls. However, we managed it ably with 4 little kids (9. 7. 4 and 3). It's totally worth it, though. It feels so untouched. The falls are a fairly high and fall into a pool that is deep enough for divers... 更多
We asked our guide to stop here on the way back from Caracol, and we are so glad we did! Not only were the falls gorgeous, but there was so much room to swim! If you're more adventurous, there are some rocks you can jump off of, and you can even swim all the way to the fall and then... 更多
A beautiful setting popular with locals and tours alike. The water is clean and refreshing, a great trip from San Ignacio or a perfect stop on the return from Caracol.
The drive in wasn't too bad but had potential to be worse. We certainly have been on worst roads in Belize even though it was slick from the recent rains. The hike down to the falls was bit steep in places but at least there was upside down bottle caps used for grip on the un-even steps. This place gets... 更多
This was a side trip after going to Caracol, but turned into a trip highlight. Beautiful falls after a short steep hike. But the reason to go is the two deep (30'+) pools with ample opportunity for rock jumping. The kids (from 8-15) had a phenomenal time swimming and jumping from the rocks anywhere from 5-15ft (there were some others... 更多
These falls were part of a long day trip out to Caracol. We rented a SUV and stopped at Bleucaneux for lunch and then found our way down to the falls just a short ways from the resort. I would recommend going to these in the early afternoon as the sunsets around 5pm.
