I read a review before our trip and knew we would have a bumpy 3 mile road to the trailhead. Because our hike was in April, there was snow at the end of the trail and ice by the falls. That made it even more spectacular!
We hiked this trail with our children (ages 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 1/2). The older 3 all managed just fine on their own. It was still frozen solid when we went and it was absolutely beautiful! I've never seen just a neat natural area. The kids enjoyed the hike. The road to the trailhead was a bit rough.... 更多

Went to the area in April a bit off season for the dunes. We were amazed at the Falls. a short walk up the road/quite wide trail.
