A friend and I volunteered at the Tevis Cup and drove up here (about 19 miles) from Auburn. It's a very small town with friendly people and good service. There's a beautiful bridge to drive or walk over (I believe it is the highest bridge in California, over 720 feet). Very extreme fire danger, and it was excessively hot. But... 更多
Had the opportunity to explore Auburn and the Forest Hill Bridge...awesome! Did a little hiking on some great, well-marked trails and even though I didn't have time to traverse the bridge I was able to get some great pictures from dizzying heights in numerous areas. Hard to believe all this beauty and serenity lies within just a few hundred feet... 更多

This is a beautiful place to hike for 20 minutes. The view will take your breath away!!!! I grew up here in this country and this would be a highlight to take my visiting friends and family.
Nice little town. Very friendly people. We rode her as an evening MC ride. Stopped at the local watering hole, people chatted with us and we had a nice visit.

You can see big trees and very small river :) The water in the river is crystal clear and cold. In the water you need to be very careful because there are strong currents. In this place very nice to... 更多
Take 20 minutes out of your day if you are visiting Auburn and walk across the Foresthill bridge. It is spectacular. The height along will amazed you. The local agencies keep trying to make it suicide-proof but the bridge has a unique history of tragic ends.
