Ron was excellent. Met us at the door and checked on us occasionally and told great stories. Will stop again.

This is more than a museum, it's a history book that comes to life with the stories of the valiant men and women who served and defended this country and freedom. The guy who gave us a tour was a volunteer who was friendly and knowledgeable. There is so much there that we did not get to see everything so... 更多

The curator/staff/volunteers have done a great job organizing and laying out the displays in an interesting and sensible manner. You could easily take just an hour or a whole day, depending on your time and... 更多

The exhibits and displays are very good at the museum. There is no charge, but they accept donations. It is located in an old railroad building in downtown Athens.

This converted freight depot has an unusually good display of military memorabilia, a meeting room, and plenty of parking. The building is handicapped accessible.
My deceased husband has a brick placed there in the memory garden and I always take out-of-town visitors to visit. They are impressed with the museum.
