One interesting exhibit is a book with the signatures of every president with the exception of President Franklin Roosevelt's that was signed by Eleanor, his wife. A group of us were invited yo a dinner hosted by the White House Historical Society, and the food and service were excellent.
This is the place to stop first before exploring the Lafayette Park area. The important sites are shown here with a write up on each one. Friendly staff to answer questions and direct you to the sites themselves. Helps you to get around quickly without having to keep checking a map.

I was privileged to attend a private function at Decatur House; a dinner served in the garden on a summer... 更多
