Stayed here in the middle of summer and spent three days in deep fog. This campground is off on a point away from Coos Bay and more in the ocean area. If the weather is great then this would be a great place to stay with forested sites that would be comfortable in hot weather. The site has not phones... 更多
I had no idea what to expect from this park, the main reason I chose it was because it broke up the drive between Nahalem Bay State park and Avenue of the Giants. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. This place is a GEM! The cool shaped rock formations at the head of the bay act as a natural... 更多
Beautiful state park. Camped for two nights. Campsites are small but the location is stunning. Walk to the beach is about 10 mins. The main beach area is great for you children, calm water and sheltered from the wind.
One of the nicer beaches on the south coast. It is relatively small, but is mostly calm, as it is a protected half-moon bay. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful beach and calming ocean. After you are done here head south for a few other nice parks; Simpson Reef, to see the sea lions and... 更多

Aside from being difficult to navigate for any vehicle longer then 30 feet due to the narrow roads and the driveway angles, the sites are lush, green, and spacious, for the most part. There are a few smaller... 更多
the cove across the street was beautiful, the park was great. the reef with the seals was one of the highlights of the trip. alot better then sea lion cave. some nice hiking trails. the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was the biking campsite was the worst one we stayed at. they must just take a spot... 更多
We just spent 2 great weeks at this park, and it was wonderful. 2 adults in one of their yurts, more hot water in the showers than I am used to at a state campground, friendly staff, awesome views , and my favorite ice cream shop just down the road in Charleston. If you enjoy Oregon State Parks, then I... 更多
The beach here is great. It is in a protected cove so the surf is calm. It's easy for young toddlers to wade in, or take out a kayak or stand up paddle board. There is a fresh water creek that flows into the beach after running through the nearby campgrounds. We took the 5 minute drive into town of... 更多
