A two hour excursion turned into a 13 hour nightmare. Could have walked back to Saratoga quicker than the train. Poor communication; no customer support. I did not take the ride from. Penn Station to Rennselear (Albany). My advice; get off at Albany. DO NOT TAKE THE TRAIN INTO THE ADIRONDACKS! THE RAIL SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.
We can confirm the warnings about the toilets on the AmTrak Adirondack. We boarded the train at Penn Station for Montreal. The smell of urine met us as we boarded the rail car. This is not after passengers had been on for hours. This is the smell at the originating station. For an 11 hour (actually 12) ride, the coach... 更多
I had the best time! This is probably my 10th year going and I always have such a great time. Garlic, garlic everywhere!!! Next year dates are Oct.... 更多

The Amtrak Adirondack train from NYC to Montreal arrived 2 hours late, having inched and juddered its way along the winding single freight line up the... 更多
We took this ride from Montreal to NYC after a cruise. As seniors, we were treated royally and put in the early boarding line - even though we are youngish seniors and not in any physical trouble (although I was suffering from sciatica at the time). We were escorted on board before the huge line and found a couple of... 更多
