We brought our black lab out for some exercise and we got what we expected plus more, two beautiful waterfalls and lots of fabulous trails. The pooch loved sniffing along the trails and swimming in the river. There are a lot of stairs and a fun suspension bridge over the river. There are so many places to hang out by... 更多
This state park has incredible views of the North Shore, the largest waterfall within MN (the falls at Grand Portage State Park are half in Canada), and some nice hiking paths. I highly recommend visiting this park.
Love, love, loved this park!! The view from the visitor center trail was amazing! The trails to the waterfalls were so nice and even had nice stairs. The waterfalls were just amazing! The bridge that swayed as you walked over the water was really fun. We did the trail that takes you down to where the river dumps into the... 更多
Stayed at the one of the cart in sites. Not for the faint of heart. It was was several uphills for about .4 miles but well worth it! One of the most beautiful campsites I have ever had. There are sites closer to the water (have reserved one for next year) but this one did have a view of the... 更多
Tettegouche State Park is probably the most diverse of the major state parks along the North Shore of Lake Superior. There are many miles of hiking trails throughout the park and along the Baptism River, with the High Falls being the ultimate destination point The Lake Superior trails to Shovel Point and the beaches offer breathtaking views of the surrounding... 更多
I camped here with my husband and 2 dogs and loved every minute of it! The campsites are nice and secluded and the trails vary in difficulty. The falls are spectacular and shovel point is really scenic! The visitor center and campground restroom/showers are clean, modern and well maintained. The employees are very friendly and helpful too. We'll definitely be... 更多
Super fun adventure trip. We went rock climbing here (our second time) with the professional guides of Vertical Endeavors Adventures. The rock climbing is spectacular with a rappel down and then climb back up. The granite is really hard, but the crashing surf beneath you add to the adrenaline factor. Super fun!!! This is a gorgeous park for hiking, even... 更多
New visitors center very nice. Not sure if the lady we talked to had ever hiked the High Falls trail. She said we would be hiking along the river like there was a view. This was more like walking in the woods to a destination. The falls were amazing and we would have done it anyway, just felt it was... 更多
The new visitor center and rest area is roomy and informative, Small cafe area, store, rest rooms, and seating areas inside and out. Nice hiking trails down to the big lake. A very nice place to stop and explore. Muddy steep climb up to the High Falls but my husband said it was well worth it.
