Even though it is a very small waterfall, it is the widest in Europe. It has a horseshoe shape and makes it specially beautiful, specially at sunset. I suggest you go around the bridge, and take the stairs down, to reach the waterfall. There is also a nice beach close to the waterfall.
While the waterfall doesn't look that spectacular as the widest in Europe it's great fun crossing it on foot or swimming in the river beneath. The surroundings are quite nice as well.

All that has been written already is true about the Venta falls. We were there on a very warm day, so it was crowded. I think it is important to choose what time you visit to get the most of out it. This is a must see when you are there, and bring your camera.
