We went on a ski holiday as a group. 4 couples and two infants. Constructive feedback: -We found this very expensive for what it has to offer. You get 10 times more in Austria at the same price. -The ski passes were non transferable and for 2 couples (the ones we came with infants) it was not a good deal.... 更多
Most beautiful place in both summer or winter. Lots of walking, hiking and ski trails. Close to many small welcoming villages too. Great way to get immersed in the local culture. Reminds me much of the Grand Teton range in the US. I visited here prior to TA date settings so I hope they will allow this posting.
Absolutely amazing ridge of very high mountains, split by the border into Slovakian and Polish parts. Most of the Tatra mountains are protected on both sides of the border in national parks - highest form of nature protection. There're many ways of visiting Slovakian part, from skiing, cycling, horse riding to the most popular of walking. Lots of colour coded... 更多

A large park with 3 major sites. You can so one of them or long hikes (half to full day) between two of them. Lots of things to do in the area and villages at the bottom of the mountains. There are also short and easy hiking trails and anyone can finds suitable activities.
We spent several days here in summer as a family of three (our daughter was 14 at the time) and generally enjoyed the surroundings. The mountains are nice and offer great views. Anyone intending to go hiking should not underestimate it: the trails are made of rough and uneven stones (typically 20-30cm in diameter) and require attentive hopping from one... 更多
