We visited Ventspils museum with family. It is a nice museum but it really could use some more information in English. Also some of the information and exhibition itself had small errors (latvian sign on the wall of the windmill saying it was built in 1864 and sign in english saying the windmill was built in 1894, modern harvester marks... 更多
A mix of antique ships, anchors, traditional buildings, cultural items and more. Even has a little train that goes through the pretty nearby park. Very clean and well-maintained. Only a 5-minute walk from the beach, it gives a view of the fascinating local society of the past and offers a fun change from sun-and-sand.
A place with a taste of history. :) Lots of different home and that will allow to understand the Latvian roots. Mills and the most important and interesting - Little Train that leave no one indifferent. In addition, the tram can take trips - is worth it - recommend!
