Very interesting tour. It was unusual that we didn't go to old city, but went into real Riga. Kris is the best, we learnd many interesting facts about Rigas history! I recommend everybody!
It was a great tour with a great guide (Agnes). We got some advice afterwards about not so touristic restaurants/bars and we discovered some lovely places. Thanks and keep up the good work you are doing there!!
Had a great time on this tour. Learned a good number of abstract facts about the city. I would recommend if you are looking to get off the beaten path for a couple hours.
Great guide (Christus), a lot of information, presented in an easy-going way, not so rusty like some "normal" city tours.
This was a great tour to see the city. I think paired with the old town tour you'd probably have a good understanding of things happening in Riga. My tour guide was Agnes, I think, and she was really easy to talk to and gave great recommendations throughout the tour. She even recommended checking out the Art Academy which ended... 更多
This was just great. Despite of crappy weather, the guide (Martin) was a great company and really passionate of what he does. This is not reciting a guidebook, but real stories and the only way to understand the city as much as possible in 2.5 hours. Also great advises on places to visit.
Every day at 12 appointment @ st Peter 's church by a local host. For a 2,5h free tour though Riga, lots of local tips, great views and stories.
We went on the 12h tour which explores the city away from the old city. There is a 11h tour for the old city that we didn't know about until we got there, which is a shame. The 12h tour explores less-touristy areas beyond the centre, which is interesting and good to get away from all the busy places. Our... 更多
I came across the Riga free tour guide,Mārtiņš Enģelis. He appeared to be very knowledgeable guy with a sharp sense of humor. So I followed him along with the other people, who explained about the history and culture a bit. The crux of that walking tour is this, Latvian take their art of building house and stuffs like that quite... 更多
the free walking tour by Riga is the best way to explore the city with a balanced combination of the old town and the newer parts. our tour guide Agnes knew the city like the back of her hand and told us interesting stories about the cities..she was thoroughly informed about the folk tales and the Latvian culture. I highly... 更多
Went on the walking tour over the Easter break. Initially was only 1 guide for a massive group, but called in a second guide. Even with this there were about 75 people per guide which made for some lengthy stops. Unfortunately, as the tour took us outside of the old town (which I did appreciate because we were able to... 更多
Thank you very much for joining the tour! Unfortunately this Easter was incredibly and unpredictably busy, many large groups showed... 更多
From the good side, clear voice and a nice personality of the guide, and a couple of interesting things about the city. Otherwise, Martin took almost right away from the medieval part of the city (I think, there are a lot of interesting buildings there). The most of the tour was mainly a talk about what is going to be... 更多
It's not the first time people ask us why do we leave the old town and why don't we spend... 更多
A must in Riga, the best way to know the city and Art Deco buildings. The tour guides are super cool and will give you a lot of insiders tips, afterwards, you can continue your trip as you like...but you will be better prepare. Starting time 12:00 so be prepare (at least in March 2015)
Martin our tour guide was very entertaining. He 'warned' us it wouldn't be one-of-those tours pointing out stuff that you can read in tour books like dates, common facts. For the next 2-3hrs he took us on a very interesting tour also leaving the old town. Hints, stories and infos about the local history, customs, architecture... in a way that... 更多
I do not expect much from free things - I thought this tour will be somewhat ok and that's it. I was wrong! The tour was the best thing I did in Riga on my trip. The guide told interesting stories and jokes, show places where tourists usually don't go (e.g. market place, Moscow district). I was travelling alone, but... 更多
