It is called Zaliasis Tiltas (Green Bridge), because it is green. They had soviet statues on it as well, but now they are taken off. Local people have divided opinions about these statues. And actually there is nothing more special about this bridge.
This is one of Vilnius bridges. Its architecture is not very impressive and original. This is not a new bridge. A comparison and it is not a big bridge. Now a lot of talk about it because of the Soviet era who stood by his sculptures. This is the same as the monuments to Lenin.
I’m writing this review as information to my readers, old and new. As I predicted in an earlier review this year the statues are now gone.
