This Church overlooks the city at the terminus of the funicular. There is a spacious terrace to take in the view and enjoy a fresh breeze on a hot day.
Catch the Zaliakalnis Funicular railway (very short) or walk up through a park to the church. Its huge and can be seen for miles. You can pay to take the lift up to the viewing platform. It offers great views 360 degrees. The church itself is large and white and quite plain inside but worth a visit.
