Within the castle you could visit several different museums, like the history of the castle and the wax museum or the system of cellars and each of them are interesting. But if you rather stay outside or are just looking for a stroll and want to take pictures of the city from above it is great to walk along the... 更多
It is ridiculous.. you can walk around the castle wall, than you have to pay to go to the castle garden where you can find some canons and grass, then you have to pay to go in the castle to see the panopticon which was ridiculous. Sooo boooring...
Great views of the city from the ramparts. Most of the castle itself was destroyed by the hapsburgs, but the walls still stand, as does the base of the cathedral. The guided tour to the underpassages of the castle was well worth it and impressive. Also learned about the story/movie made about the seige 'under the crescent moon'.

There Are different exhibits in different buildings and it... 更多

Our main issue is after paying admission they have a bunch of microadmission places to see a lot of the area. With that being said, you can't come here without already seeing the compound. If you are... 更多

The castle has a mixture of visitor attractions, some are included in the entrance fee, others not. It offers a good combination of the history of the place and Hungarian history generally. Not all of the information is available in English. Excellent views of Eger are to be had from the castle walls.
