We spend a very nice afternoon in the National Gallery. We were impressed of the good Slovene painters and also we appreciated the Vugrinec Collection Croatian Modern Art, also impressive Admission 7 or 10 € depending what you would like to see, and we paid for "pensioner" only 6 €, very nice price.

It's a very fine building, and a fitting setting in which to display some intriguing and high quality paintings. Everyone will have their favourites, but do not miss The Artist's Mother by Janez Subic, and Double Self-Portrait by Ivan Vavpotic.
