A very nice walk, encircling Ljubljana, also called "Path by the wire" due to Ljubljana being closed of during WW2 by a wire fence. There is almost no ascent, so it's suitable for everyone.
During the second WW Ljubljana was surrounded by the fence built by Italians who have occupied this area. Where the fence was, today is the path around the whole city. Around 30 km of a path. It is a great path for walking or biking. But needs better memorial signs or picutres, so that people would know what happened during war. Every year in May it is a traditional march around it - or partially or whole path or run. Too many people walking it, should be a week thing (just my opinion).
