We went one day and were advised there was not a show that day so we returned the next. I would say that a visit would not be as highly rated without seeing the beautiful horses in action. The tour was very interesting to my companions as they are real horse enthusiasts. For me seeing how they performed in the... 更多
This is an excellent Lipizzaner stud farm with a range of attractions. It is set in large sweeping grounds that you can walk through. There was a riding school where we were fortunate to see a guy taking one of the horses through a training routine. We took a seat and quietly watched. It was an unexpected surprise to get... 更多
We had a great time here. We watched a very impressive and skillful dressage show followed by a group tour of the stables and buildings of the stud farm. The dressage show lasted about 40 minutes and had several elements to it showing various stages of the horses' training and skill levels. The tour lasted about an hour and was... 更多
I visited with my kids for the performance which sadly after having watched the shows in Vienna Spanish Riding School, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement for variety of performances which I felt it lacked. That aside, the kids loved the horses and the fact they could stroke them while in the stable. They desperately were wishing... 更多
The horses are beautiful, no question. The paid tour took me to all of 3 stables though, none of which are incredibly well kept up. The free horse show at the end was frankly pretty boring. Good place to stop if you're a horse person, hit or miss if you're not.
We were on a three month holiday and this place was the hghlight of our holiday. We had a guided tour of the stud farm which was so interesting. We saw a practice show plus a "Show". Both were so impressive. A must for all lovers of horses.
I have arrived to the farm in the afternoon. It's a huge area, unfortunately most of the horses were in the stables behind the bars, it was impossible even to take photos and no shows to see. I think that 16 Euros is a high price; I don't think that I will visit again.
We had a nice visit here in June, 2016. There were not too many people on the guided tour so you could have a proper conversation with the guide and ask anything you wanted to know. The guided tour is included in the price and there is one in every hour in many languages, at least in English, German, Italian... 更多
This is an amazing farm where the Lipizzaner breed originated! The setting is really beautiful. The guided tours started at 10 and was nice and informative. After, we were able to walk around the farm ourselves. The show was 45 minutes (check the website for times as it doesn't go every day) and my non-horsey husband was greatly impressed with... 更多
The Lipica Stud Farm is in a beautiful setting, with even more beautiful horses. we took the one hour tour, which was extremely informative (who knew that the foals are born dark brown, and over 4-6 years turn white!) Since our visit was in June, we got to see a number of young foals and their mares. Even though our... 更多
