Drawings, music, newsletters ... the kids did it all. A very moving exhibit showing what the Jewish kids and adults did while imprisoned here, waiting to be transported to the death camps. Very moving.

While the place offers an idea of what happened here, the one thing I ask for you to notice is the art from the children. The art starts off colorful but as the years goes on, you can see the toll it took on the children and the art isn't as hopeful.

beautifull orchestrated museum to show you the timeline of this concentration camp and world war 2. you watch a 10 minute movie when you first get there which gives you a perspective of what the jewish people there went through and then walking the gallery upstairs seeing the photographs makes you realize what transpired. I would recommend not taking any... 更多

For those who visit the Terezin camp, I strongly recommend visiting this museum. The exhibits are very well done and they discuss the horrors of living in the Jewish Ghetto during the war. Downstairs there is a room dedicated to all the lost children, with old artwork and a large tribute wall. It is hard not to break into tears... 更多

A great museum with so much information. A little spoilt by your groups going in the wrong direction upstairs. I think you would need at least an hour to see all that is included there.

I had read about Terezienstadt and was pleased to finally get here. It was an easy bus ride from Prague - the Nadrazi Holesovice Metro station - bus bay No 7. The buses are frequent. The first stop is the Hapsburg fortification the Nazis transformed into a prison and work camp for Czechs. An easy walk from there is the... 更多

I visited here as a day out from a Prague break. It was easy to get to - take the metro to Nadrazi Holesovice and then a bus from stand 7 at the back of the metro station. You can buy the bus tickets from the driver - 85 kc each way when I went. It takes about an hour,... 更多

If in Prag, don't miss going to Terezienstadt. A truly heartbreaking experiencing that makes the sufferings of WWII very real. Brings you to tears and gives you a perspective to your own petty problems. Go with a guide.

A site you must visit. If you are in the area make sure you set up a tour to visit this site. Do it with a tour guide to get a full understanding of what occurred at this site.
