Another church that does not look like much from outside but is beautiful inside. It was located right by our hotel and only on day two I saw it was a church when I went to look inside the door. It turned out to be a great "smaller" church.
this is a truly beautiful interior. Personally I love over decoration but it may not be for the more subtle taste. Beautiful handiwork everywhere celebrating the craftsmen rather than the patrons. Well worth a visit.
This isn't my favortie church by any means. We were shocked at how elaborate the inside of the church is, and that may or may not appeal to you. The six-hundred year old severed arm comes with a story, but it not exactly a highlight. I found the church a bit dark and narrow for my taste. Still, if chruches... 更多

We were drawn to the building on our first day as we wandered around. We heard music coming from inside and were drawn in. The music and smoke from incense along with the beautiful interior really did take my breath away. Each time we visited I noticed something else. Definitely worth a visit.
Located next to Old Town Square is the very ornate St James Basilica. Some of the most impressive ceilings, columns, walls, paintings and organ I've seen in any church in Europe. There is a mummified forearm in the church that legend states is the arm of a jewel thief that tried to steal from the altar. Church is well worth... 更多
This is one of the most beautiful churches I have visited. It has a long nave with attractive pale pink columns and is in the Baroque style. The paintings on the ceiling are tremendous. There are 20 side chapels with works by famous artists. The acoustics are excellent so many concerts and recitals take place in the church.
The church is lovely and free to visit. The mummified arm was a bit hard to find, until I overheard a guide pointing it out! Just take advantage of the church location to stop by!
