If not searching purposefully, Ungelt square is very easy to miss, unless you do some passage-diving for fun around Tyn church. This was exactly what I did, exploring various corners. The square is very attractive architecturally and there are several nice shops and restaurants. I especially liked botanical shop and Koh-i-noor shop. In the latter, I even bought myself a... 更多
This is a secluded and hidden little square behind the main square and close to the landmark Church of Tyn. It contains a smattering of little shops and restaurants with many other streets leading off to different parts of the city.
Ungelt Square is a small square by the Tyn Church. It is secluded and that is part of it's charm. On our most recent visit, we walked through and it felt like a hidden oases in comparison with the impossibly crowded Staromestske Namesti, just steps away. Our hotel was located in this square. There is an Irish pub located here as well which make it a lively square at night. The restaurants here are nice as well and cheaper than going the 200 meters to the old town square.
Bohemian/gothic surrounding with some forge best people watching. Every side has tons of side streets and alleyways that have great shopping. Mostly touristy stuff but with effort you can find diamonds in the rough. Don't miss it...I don't think you could if you tried.
I had marked this square as a 'visit' place on TripAdvisor saves, else would never have found it. It's very well hidden and the usual tourist traffic normally concentrates only on the old town square area. This courtyard is in front of the Tynn Church and has a very unique charm about it. It is a smallish square with a... 更多

The word "Ungelt" is... 更多

It was built for the foreign merchants who paid custom duties for the items they brought into the city. This area was supposed to be their sanctuary so that... 更多
