Our tour guide on the Sandemans New Europe Tour told us to visit this. It's set in a beautiful park and the view from the top is amazing. It's easily accesible and worth the walk for the lazy ones
I "enjoyed" the walk up the stairs to get to the park and was rewarded by the outstanding views of the city. I thought it was a very cool attraction. It was erected in 1991, on the plinth left vacant by the destruction in 1962 of an enormous monument to former Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.
Take a trip up if you've got some time to kill. Stunning park and views up there. However if you're only going up to see the Metronome and it's history it is a little lacking in explanation. Although google did the trick for us ha!
Across the river from the Jewish Quarter, high on a hill , Letna Park overlooks the city. Twenty years after the Czech Republic was founded; the Nazi's were dominating Europe. If you want to save money and have a great view over the city, you should definitely climb up here and drink a cold beer while enjoying this beautiful outlook! Besides there might be some music/events taking place in the evenings !

Many skateboarders hang around the promenade, but there is enough room that it... 更多
Metronome - it was suppose to symbolize the passage of time. But It never seems to work! Over the years I have been many times and I have yet to see it move. I think the area is getting progressively worse. It is a pity, this is one of the best pieces of land in Prague. Such amazing views. That... 更多
Not sure if it only moves at certain times of the day/month/year or what, but when we went it wasn't moving - which was a bit disappointing since we'd gone out of our way to see it.
We went there on a recommendation from our CS hosts. It was worth it! From the castle you can arrive walking, it only takes about 15min max. Also there was Mexican street food and other guys selling draft beer. The tacos were great! And there was people dancing swing giving to the place a even more colourful touch. Highly recommended!... 更多
