The 'hanging gardens' and 'Secret Mine' are rather fanciful descriptions, but nevertheless we enjoyed the experience of descending down the rocky staircase to the river at the bottom - and then back up again!
Although the garden is small it's a gem! Beautiful plants and flowers, a little fishpond, lovely smelling herbs and a small bench exactly where the sun can reach you (I was there in winter). The well, which is actually for defence and escape, is impressive. It's about 200 steps down and up again, but remember the slaves who had to... 更多
I'm a DandD geek. I had heard I could walk dwon some stairs cut into the mountain inside the gorge to the river below, but everyone pointed me to this useless site near the parador, where you can only walk down a few steps. The one has the mine (you're looking for a mine not a cave), with great ancients... 更多
a small garden at the entrance, the house/palace beside must be great after the renovation too (at time closed). if you enjoy your time in ronda, best with an overnight stay and not just some "crumbles" as a view fotos and jump out of a day excursion for 2-3h as most tourist do (and miss the real ronda) visit this... 更多
It has a small beautiful garden. Admission was 5 euros and you can walk down to the bottom of the Canyon. It took around 10 minutes to reach to bottom and You have to pass through narrow and slippery steps. The view at the bottom was totally different from the views from the top of the canyon. The cave was... 更多
The gardens are very small but the peacocks and gold fish are great for kids. The atmosphere is calm and restful. We love la Mina, don't be put off by the steps, the 'whispering gallery' is really incredible and the bottom of the gorge is beautiful especially when the water is clear when you can see deep down into the... 更多
As with most attractions we visited over two weeks in Spain this was very affordable (five euros) and a wonderful find. The gardens had a beautiful backdrop of the surrounding mountains and the slow, careful walk down the wet stairs to the river were so much fun. These are the things we like to do, explore historic places with some... 更多
Bit of a 5 minute wonder, but the experience of going to the bottom of the mine is different. Lots of steps, uneven, and slippery so be careful. Cheap admission price.
House was closed for refurbishment, but the garden and mine open. 5 euros entrance (less for children, but defined as up to age 10). Garden modest but very nicely set out. Not a lot of planting interest, more about layout, views and water rills. The mine is down over 200 steps - hard on the knees going down and on... 更多
