Place was good but was very expensive to enter. Home to 2 waterfalls but not worth the price. Nevertheless, it is not a bad place at all. Lots of natural beauty all around.
We attended the falls today and apparently there is a dispute with a land-owner who owns part of the trail. We parked away from the Webster Falls at the Tew Falls parking and were not told about the trail closure by staff when we entered. We are a family of 4 so that is $30 with parking (which is expensive... 更多
Stay away from Spencer Gorge; especially on the weekends. To quote the spec "People are literally falling for beautiful Spencer's Gorge" with more than 15 rope rescues so far this year and two falling deaths. Between the dangerous pathways an overcrowding it is not a lovely walk in the park.
Lovely park, i guess, but couldn't see it because of all the people. Crazy busy so didn't have a leisurely relaxing experience - parking was horrible (feel sorry for the people who live nearby as their roads are taken over), it was expensive to get in, and large families had taken over areas for their picnics which made it even... 更多
We went with the expectation of getting to go down the escarpment to see Websters Falls from the bottom. According to the conservation authority this is no longer allowed. I would not go back unless they change this policy and re-open the trail to the bottom.
From all the hype I've heard over the last few years, we were expecting MUCH more. My daughter and I were very disappointed by all of it. Knew there would be a $10/car entry fee and $5/person which is TOO high for what you get! Text a friend while I was there to see where she got wonderful shots with... 更多
I brought my family from Europe to see this beautiful areas I haven't been here in 10 years. It's all a scam...we tried to park in the parking lot near weather falls but got turned away from the parking lot by an officer because the lot was full. We parked at the one near trew falls. BIG MISTAKE! This guy... 更多
I came here this past week to specifically see Webster Falls, but it was much more than just the falls! This is a great place to go for a hike! Whether you want a short 20 minute walk or a couple hours of trekking, it's a nice place to visit. About a half hour walk from Webster Falls, along a... 更多
My boyfriend and I hiked through the conservation area and loved it! We hiked the whole trail and saw Tew's Falls, Dundas Peak (amazing views of Hamilton!) and Webster's Falls. Our only complaint is that it was a bit challenging to see Webster's Falls from the lookout. But it was an amazing hike and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Parking was... 更多
