Firstly, a warning about the car park fee - £5 before 2pm and £2 after. Extremely expensive and I believe this ticket will not cover other National Trust car parks in the Stackpool area, so it could prove rather expensive to visit a few sites. After passing the toilet block and walking down the hill, we took the right hand... 更多
Fantastic place for all ages but requires some walking. You can choose how far you go as many routes along the waterside dont be put off by the word lilyponds these are huge more like lakes they take you over bridges and lead to a beautiful beach( broad haven) it just opens up in front of you as you approach.Loads... 更多
We had a very relaxing walk alongside these lakes and then along the coast. It was very quiet (in February) and the views were stunning even in the middle of winter. This is a great area of Wales and well worth the four hours we took to explore the area and stunning coastline which is nearby.
If you are young and fit then the Lily ponds are probably well worth a visit, especially when in full flower. Be warned that the roads are winding and narrow. During the summer season they are also very busy with visitors to this beautiful area who might be unused to driving sensibly on such roads. Have your wits about you!... 更多
Lily Ponds! No, Lily Lakes describes this beautiful place. Walk around on mostly even paths. A round trip is nearly 2 miles. A few steep stops on one side of the lake but generally accessible for all. We went in December and was lovely with lots of birds and ducks. Half way around you can access Broad Haven South beach,... 更多
7 of us made our way to the Lilyponds and we loved it . Picturesque walks by the water and on the beach were a great way to spend the afternoon . Must be fantastic when the place is in full bloom !!
This was part of a long coastal walk in December and a great part of it. Even in mid winter it's teaming with wildlife along with plenty of people out for a stroll in the chill air. A great place to stop an think.
my wife and I enjoy walking and found some very interesting walks at the lily bonds it is well worth a visit in the early summer onwards when the lilys on in full flower
We've been going to Bosherston Lily Ponds for many years. They are lovely at any time of the year but obviously at their best when the lilies are in flower. There is a lovely range of flora and fauna to enjoy - we've even been otter-watching!
