This was certainly worth the visit - vastly different than the penguin parade just a short drive down the road that is overly touristy. The koalas are sectioned off in different areas to protect overconsumption of the Eucalyptus trees. Do not expect to see vast numbers of koalas. Do expect to see the koalas in a wonderful conserved setting, treated... 更多

We went to the consevation centre expecting to see at least eight koalas but we saw about four or five. Then we went on the bush walk around the centre an didn't even see one koala!! I saw more koalas in the gift shop! Definitely not the best place for a day out at with the family.

We were lucky to watch a koala wake up and climb down the tree and start eating the leaves a metre away from us standing on the boardwalk. Very natural setting.
It is good to see the efforts to converse the Koalas. The area is well laid out and it is good to get so close to the Koalas without too much disturbance.
Nice centre. Seemed well run with pleasant and friendly staff. The areas where the koalas are contained was well laid out and handy markers placed around so we could find them. Going out however into the open park was not so easy. We only spotted one!!
On a recent trip with family on Philip Island a visit to the Koala Conservation Centre is a must, it was great to get so close to these sedate wonders of nature. Well worth a visit!
Great place to see koalas in their natural habitat. You don't get to hold the koalas or anything like that, it is just a protected native habitat for koalas which you can walk through and see Australian native animals. We saw about 12 koalas, 3 wallabies, an echidna, kookaburra and heaps of pink galahs. Reasonably priced too.
On a recent trip to visit family on Philip Island a visit to the Koala Conservation Centre was in order. Whilst we were there around mid day, it was great to be able to get so close to these sedate wonders of nature. The centre is doing great work and must be supported by all.
My partner and I went to the Koala Conservation Center and loved it. We spent over an hour just walking around and enjoying the beauty of nature. To be so close to the Koala's was amazing, I would go back easily.

It was fun to walk the paths and try to spot all the koala bears in the trees. The birds and wallabies were fun to spot also but this place was all about conservation of the Koala population!
