This attraction is amazing. All the old items like kitchen utensils, clothing, bedding, phones, historical books, farm machinery and other modes of transport, even a full sized LIGHTHOUSE. The gentleman that was looking after the place was very informative and easy to understand.
This place is a lot bigger than you imagine, you need to explore. There is so much history here and it is very interesting. The volunteers here a lovely and the rose garden beautiful, worth the visit.
Wonderful museum full of history about the early settlements, the volunteers here have done an amazing job with the upkeep of this site. There are quite a few buildings to visit abundant with old machinery. There is no guided tour but volunteers are very happy to assist with any questions.
$6 per adult seemed a little steep but there are quite a few buildings and lots of equipment to be maintained and not a lot of visitors to cover the costs. We got here right on opening time and the lil old lady bless her. She was so chatty and lovely. We enjoyed a good hour wandering around the cottage and it's ground absorbing the history. Wonderful place
