$24 a go is not cheap, particularly if you are only interested in the WOW section, which realistically only takes 30 minutes. The car section is actually much bigger, but if you are not a petrol head then you will be left feeling pretty robbed.
On a recent visit to Nelson in New Zealand we were taken to this museum which offered a unique and amazing experience particularly in the wearable art gallery which displayed incredible hand made garments from around the world, which if you are into dress design, then you should find this collection truly inspiring. If you are into cars then the... 更多
Very interesting. Absolutely amazed at how creative some people can be to make these costumes out of materials you would never think of using. As for the old, vintage and racing cars - they were something out of the box to see. I doubt you would ever see another collection like this all in one place ever - just loved... 更多
Looked fro something to do an a rainy day and thought we would give this a whirl. I wasn't expecting too much rom either attraction, but found myself impressed with both collections. The wearable art side packs a lot into a relatively small space, some people are just so darn creative!...The theatre room is definitely worth taking in as it... 更多
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, very interesting & also nostalgic!! Bought back many happy memories of cars we once owned in our childhood!! The fashion was amazing!! Very cleverly put together!! Well worth a visit!!
nice collection of vintage cars, but nothings that wow's... however smart architecture and easy accessible. I guess a good idea for a rainy day with teenage boys
You definitely have to have an interest in the world of wearable arts and/or collectable cars (saw previous people complaining). I kind of agree that it is a bit over priced ($24 per adult) for what you get to see, especially as there is a display in Te Papa in Wellington. But it is interesting to see what they have... 更多
This is an amazing attraction. The fashion part is very intriguing and well presented, including videos -- even my husband enjoyed it. The cars are beautiful and interesting to look at, but there is also plenty of information for the auto buff. Well worth a visit.
Really worth a visit.Yes do allow several hours to take your time .The costumes , presentation, and detail are amazing.Apps for smart phones etc provided for more detailed information. These exhibits are changed yearly, So Wow I can go back and be owed again. The 40 minute video presentation is a must see.Gives background and depth to the exhibition. The Classic... 更多
Brilliant exhibition with real WOW factor, plus the most understated but superb Classic Car Museum. Wonderful to have these two brilliant exhibitions in one museum.
Recommend allowing a few hours to visit. The video presentation on the WOW show is a must-see as it give some context to the costumes and presents these in a different view, when worn and modeled. Cars are a nice visit too, although I am not a car buff. I felt the ticket price was on the higher end, and... 更多
This is an amazing opportunity to get up close to admire the intricate work that goes into the creation of the fabulous works of art that make up the collection on display. Hubby on the other hand was more interested in the classic cars which are well displayed. There is a small café on site with a good selection of... 更多
Well worth a visit, stunning environment and the costumes are incredible. There certainly are some creative people around and being able to see this creativity is wonderful. Well presented and a stimulating morning. The car museum is very also very well presented, all the cars are in pristine condition. The fact that this exhibition is owned by one family and... 更多
Really found this enthralling with the 2014 costumes on display. The cars are also amazing as they are in such mint condition. You can take as long as you like to look at everything. We viewed the audio of the 2014 show and it just felt like you were there.
