Whangarei is blessed to have this AMAZING Clock Museum. Situated in the Town Basin where there is plenty of parking (most times) So many clocks and watches to view. Information Centre and gift shop too!
this is a lovely place to go in a small town, and I have to say that the visitor guides are nice and knowledgable! there are many amazing manual clocks and the staff are very familiar with and proud of what one is talking about. All the visitors have a good time and get knowledge of clocks there with 'tick-tac'.... 更多

great little place to visit and browse...and a great place to take visitors to...and after a visit to the clock museum there is a great ice-cream parlour within cooee of the museum...
We took our very young grand daughter there for a treat. Seeing it through the eyes of a little girl was really great, listening to various chimes and tickings amongst the guides very good tour. 30 years since our last visit and it did not disappoint us.Our grand daughter was quite fascinated.
It's one of the most unique museums I have ever visited. The area is relatively small but the collection is big. From 17th century clocks with their special mechanism to modern day clocks. There are also some strange and innovative clocks in their collection. Kids would enjoy the place. The $10 fee seems reasonable.
