This is a lovely reserve with lots of walking trails. Lots of bird-life and heaps of great locations for family photos. There are no toilets or facilities (cafes etc) so bring food for a relaxing picnic.
Constantly changing environment. This is our go to place when we have visitors and want to get out of the house. Wildlife, walking tracks and the kids can feed the ducks. Only doen side is there are no toilets
Nice walking tracks, lots of wildlife to look at (which means if you're walking dogs they will spend the whole time straining at the lead). They have done some great infrastructure where you can sit snd look through peepholes in a wooden barrier to bird watch unnoticed. Would be nice if somewhere in Traralgon had an offlead area?
I lived in Traralgon for years before realising this park was here! It consists of a variety of pathways circling a large lake and extending up and over a big hill or along the sides of Kick Horse Canyon. Some paths are more challenging than others, but you're almost guaranteed to see a variety of wildlife (mostly birds) and lots...
