It's located at the back of the old post office in town and RSL. Not in a week I could have missed seeing the place, it's because of the beauty of the old enchanting trees and gardens. Inside you can see the Bendigo Secondary College and the primary school. A place where the kids can run around safely and you... 更多
Rosiland park is a beautiful place to walk, rest and play. Situated in the very heart of Bendigo City it is a lovely place to spend some time with the family or take some time out. It is often a hive of activity during public holidays as it hosts a variety of markets and activities for families. A great playground... 更多
This park is well worth a visit ( and it is free!!) It sits right in the centre of Bendigo so has easy access and has quite a few great paths to stroll along to admire the wonderfully preserved park. For the adventurous, you can take the walk up the hill and climb the viewing tower ( an old mine... 更多
I bought my young family to Bendigo on a Wednesday afternoon and we walked through Rosalind Park. It was fantastic on a hot day to be surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens but what a shame the local high school kids had overtaken huge areas. It was very intimidating walking through large groups of teens, most of whom were smoking.... 更多
Autumn leaves and acorns abound in Rosalind Park in June, home of the Rotary Club of Bendigo's Annual Christmas Carols in December, where last year some 6000 enjoyed the natural beauty of it's trees and surrounds. All it needs is an Outdoor stage for entertainment.to make it an even more popular attraction for visitors.
Lovely big park to walk around, ducks on the pond, playground area to enjoy. The was a mobile coffee guy there but there is a cafe too. Lovely place for a Sunday picnic.
This is an original park from early settlement in Bendigo. Lovely old elm and oak trees. It is not a park with flowers - across the large, bluestoned lined Bendigo creek channel - is the conservatory and rose garden to see flowers. The park shares a large children's playground with the lovely old school, Camp Hill Primary, which would keep... 更多
Rosalind Park is only a minute's walk from Pall Mall and is a lovely place to walk or sit. It is worth going through both the fernery and the adjacent conservatory. You can walk up to the poppet-head lookout tower and get excellent views over Bendigo. At this point you can take a left path to the Art Gallery or... 更多
It is a cool place to meander on a hot day, or the place for a brisk walk in cooler times. Every age was seen going through. I particularly enjoyed the blooms in the hot house.
We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent looking through this garden. There was a variety of sections within this garden that made the experience like discovering different garden rooms. Apart from the general garden areas the highlights were the greenhouse with its beautiful flowering plants, the bats and the old mining tower. It is worth climbing the tower for the view.... 更多
A wonderful park in the heart of the city, great place to eat your take away food or have a picnic in the shade of the wonderful old trees. Popular place for locals to exercise. Take a walk up the hill to the poppet head for a fantastic view of the city. No visit would be complete without a stroll... 更多
Lovely park in the center of town, lawns and flowers and of course lovely big trees. This park also has an observation tower where you can climb up and see the whole area from up high. There are also sculptures near the Art Gallery which are very different. Well worth a visit.
This is wonderful park located within central Bendigo. We commenced our visit to the park with a walk through the conservatory that was built in the late 1800s. The flower and fern display was magnificent. After leaving the conservatory we took a short walk further into the park and viewed a range of plants and art works including a number... 更多
A must so in my opinion when you are in Bendigo. Very beautiful garden with the poppet head you can climb ;) from up there you'll enjoy a nice view over Bendigo. And if you visit the garden in the evening, you'll probably see some oposums.
