We have visited these gardens a couple of times and it is such a peaceful, relaxing environment. Great for a picnic and stroll with water, flora and fauna to appreciate. It is free but I recommend throwing your spare change into the donation box at the gate.
A small but attractive garden located in the University grounds. A wide range of oriental themes and plantlife, A number of small reas to rest and reflect. More descriptions of the features would help visitors appreciate the Gardens more
The Toowoomba Japanese Garden is a 'must see'. It is worth calling into even if you're passing through Toowoomba - make it a stop to refresh. The garden is open from 7 am to dusk.
What a beautiful place to visit, so peaceful, full of colour and lovely shady walks. We particularly liked the waterfalls, so nice listening to trickling water under dappled shade, the kiddies liked the stepping stones, the bridges and paths led from one tranquil scene to another, plenty of tables scattered under shade for picnicking, walking around the paths was just... 更多
Gardens are kept in beautiful condition and it was a pleasant, easy stroll. A tip for parking is to use the gate at the Uni on West Street, much easier and there are play things close by for the children after you visit the gardens.

Arrived in Toowoomba from Brisbane in an early Easter Friday morning. The Foggy road, rainy weather in cool atmosphere, I couldn't asked for more. Love Toowoomba's... 更多
Very well kept, manicured gardens. A great place to spend sometime. Very tranquil . Would like to spend more time here we had to leave as it began raining
Very impressive worth the visit. Was a real surprise to find such a beautiful Japanese garden and surrounds in a country location away from a capitol city. However Toowoomba is know as the garden city. Well done again Toowoomba.
This is on the outskirts of town, about a ten minute drive from the CBD, but probably accessible by public transport as it's close to the uni. It is well maintained, and has interesting paths to wander through the corners of the garden, as well as some open areas in which to picnic. There aren't any barbecue areas that I... 更多
