After the earthquakes, Court Theatre relocated so quickly and with great innovation and imagination, to a vast old grain store beside the railway in Addington. The show must (and did and does) go on! It's now a quirky but entirely practical theatre, with two playing spaces - three if you count the enormous foyer. The industrial décor is fabulously imaginative... 更多
We enjoyed a great evening at this theatre. Ample parking outside, wine bar inside. Good seating. We went to see Educating Rita and will go back in future.
I took a friends three year old and this was her first outing to an event like this. We saw The Little Mermaid which is part of the Kids fest, and this was a real delight. Performer's were of a high quality, the program was interactive, which many of the children loved. Costumes were great and the little theatre made... 更多
Continuing the high standards of many years past, the current production of Educating Rita is very entertaining. George Henare is brilliantly cast as Frank. With new sponsership from Giesens Wines, the bar has been refurbished and the wine list rewritten to reflect the new patronage.

If there is any show you would like to go and see then pop along to the modern Court Theatre. Shows are generally excellent and reasonably priced. There is a large area for drinks prior to the show but no restaurant. Location is close to many pubs/restaurants.
Don't be put off by the'warehouse' style exterior. This is a lovely theatre inside. Drinks and snacks can be taken in, great selection of local wines. Saw The White Guitar which was almost certainly the most powerful performance I've ever seen. Heaps of parking free after 6pm.
