We where travelling with our nearly 2 year old grandson and we thought he might like to check out the birds. This park is well presented with a great variety of Australian and International bird species. Most of the cages are quite large, which is pleasing to see and there is plenty of shade. Our Grandson enjoyed the many colours... 更多
Large well kept cages, clean and well watered and fed. A great selection of birds, well described and well looked after. Natural shade trees making it comfortable for birds and visitors. Improvements being made all the time. Cafe available.
The birds on display are all shapes and sizes and colors from friendly show off cockatoos and even Eddy the Emu, well worth the drive out there from Broome and the entrance fee.
Well set out and so many birds to see. Some interaction with the parrots, all saying hello and dancing up a storm! Staff member was very friendly and a good entry price. Only been open for four years and the work done to date is impressive.
This Bird Park is really excellent and so worth visiting. It would be easy to drive by but please don't do that. Stop a while and enjoy this park just off the main road out of Broome driving south. You'll easily use an hour because there is a wonderful variety of birds, many which say 'hello' and seem very happy... 更多
Anyone interested in birds will find a visit worthwhile and for those not really interested it is a chance to see a wide range of mostly Australian parrots. The staff are experienced and work on conservation projects in other parts of WA . The aviaries are large and while they may look a bit spartan are well suited to the... 更多
We were expecting more of a wildlife and bird park and found a well ordered and organized private aviary but it was not what we were looking for.
I enjoyed my visit to the bird park. Lots of different species, very beautiful. Having said that, it is just looking at a bunch of birds, so if that's not your thing then skip it, but I thought it was worth the price of admission.
Worth the trip to see the exotic displays of mainly parrots, some from other countries. Many of them talk very clear and they seem well looked after. NOTE: If a senior you do not get then reduced entry fee the pensioners get.
The 12 Mile Bird Park has a big collection of hundreds of beautiful and colourful Australian and exotic birds and it is instructive to learn about them. Pity the owners have withdrawn the concession entry fee for Senior Card holders (Now applicable only to Pensioners).
