As far as I can tell, this is another part of the Royal Botanic Gardens and you have to walk further in from the Alexander Gardens. The difference seems to be that there is a lot more activity because there are plenty of statues to see, flower arrangements, Shrine of Remembrancer etc. So just overall more eye candy in this... 更多
From one garden to another. Walking through Alexander Gardens the Queen Victoria Gardens then onto here. Beautiful place for a walk, with many monuments related to wars as well as the Shrine of Remembrance. The Botanic Gardens are also to be found here. Great place to unwind away from the built up area.
This is part of a series of gardens that run along St Kilda Road. These gardens are quite extensive and include memorials and the Myer music bowl. There is a lot to see and is a tranquil place to just take a walk and relax (particularly if you are walking to the Shrine of Remembrance). I went in September and... 更多
This is just a lovely lovely garden, lots of trees to sit under, hills to walk up (or run up), paths to wander and take photos of the people getting their wedding shots done. A quiet little spot away from the hustle of the city.
The gardens show were the two hundred years of experience in the planting. The place to more interesting building about the past and the reflection of the war they went throw.
Bordering other gardens-Alexandria and the Royal Botanic Gardens, this is another gem in Melbourne's CBD area. Leading towards Government House, the well laid out grounds and border gardens are very much a place to spend a time of quiet. A walk around leads you to other places-The Women's Garden, the Myer Music Bowl, the Shrine of Remembrance, and of course,... 更多
we were walking through the Gardens and noticed a lot of people dressed in red gowns and wigs (the guys). They were gathering for the Kate Bush Day and were dancing to her hit song "Wuthering Heights". It was strange but mesmerizing. The Garden itself was a nice green space in the city
King's Domain Gardens border St Kilda Road, Melbourne's premier boulevard. The Gardens have a number of features, including the Shrine, Melbourne's war memorial. It also border Government House, where the Governor of Victoria lives and works. The Floral Clock is a much-loved feature of King's Domain Gardens. Some may feel that it's a tad cheesy, but it's the sort of... 更多
