King's Domain Gardens border St Kilda Road, Melbourne's premier boulevard. The Gardens have a number of features, including the Shrine, Melbourne's war memorial. It also border Government House, where the Governor of Victoria lives and works. The Floral Clock is a much-loved feature of King's Domain Gardens. Some may feel that it's a tad cheesy, but it's the sort of... 更多
A vast area with great views of Melbourne City. Surrounded by the Botanical Gardens, Art Centre, South Bank and the Yarra River. A great place for a relaxing afternoon.
The colourful display of autumn leaves in the King's Domain Gardens is lovely at this time of the year. The tracks are well made and great to walk on. It is a well laid out garden and has plenty to see. The Tan Track borders these gardens and is nice to also walk along.
If you are heading for the Shrine of Remembrance try walking there (if able) through King's Domain itself. There are many interesting things to see including La Trobe's cottage - albeit a replica - and the floral clock. There are some interesting statues and the whole area itself is very well kept. You can get a tram there but it... 更多

If you don't have time for the botanic gardens Melbourne then tight next door is not a bad runner up. Great place to walk about take a picnic or get married in fact. It is always luscious and so close to the CBD for a quick escape from hustle bustle.
Went for a stroll after visiting the National Gallery, another great spot to visit. Beautiful winding paths and lovely laid out garden beds. Lots of trees and lawns to spread out on. Nice walking path along the river. We walked past all the rowing sheds and to Southbank, past the array of restaurants and across the foot bridge. Great views... 更多
Thanks to visionaries like Sir Robert Hoddle, Melbourne was well designed. One of its better features is parkland that at least to the southeast of the CBD is extensive. The King's Domain partly houses the Shrine of Rememberance (commemmorating those who served in wars) and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl but it also has many walking paths en route to... 更多
Lots of green grass and plants. We liked it, especially the fern gully. Botanical garden we liked much better, but if you are going on foot from the south bank to the botanical garden, the king's domain will be on your way.
