After breakfast in Salamanca Square, I walked up to Battery Point - my second trip here as I just adore the old houses etc.
I happened upon this lovely looking Anglican Church which was closed unfortunately.
Worth dropping in to see this old church if you are in Battery Point. The day we visited, the door to the little museum was locked and we could only peer into the church through a glass partition. Would suggest you check the times for Church services if you are keen to actually enter the church. Its tower is floodlit...
This is one of the earliest churches in Hobart. Worth a visit whilst touring Battery Point as it is at the highest point. Wonderful architecture and very interesting inside with enclosed pews. Has wheel chair access. Recommend dropping in and looking at the interior. Worth a visit whilst roaming.
