We spent a bit of time at the Kelly Hill Conservation Park and Caves on Kangaroo Island recently as part of our time on the island. Close to Finders Chase National Park it was a good way to see some caves and take a great tour. There are tours that go deeper but we weren’t doing that today, maybe another... 更多
We got here quite early before the tour started, so opted to go on the hikes around the place that they recommend while you wait. The hike was nice enough, nothing too special, but you do past the old entrance of the caves, which was a hole in the ground with a ladder...very happy they don't do that anymore. We... 更多
Squeezed this in on our way back to town after seeing other attractions. I wouldn't consider this a "must see", but definitely nice if you haven't seen caves before. Our tour guide Adam was really informative and was playful and interactive with the younger kids in the group. While we were waiting for our tour to begin, a school group... 更多
My wife and I happened to be the last customers of the day and so got a private tour! I've been in a few caves before, and these did not disappoint. East to access and easy to exit if you're the 'claustaphobic' type.
Visited for the tour of the caves with my wife. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the caves and the local area. The caves were very impressive and interesting to see. As it's so close to Flinders National Park, its worth stopping over here for an hour.
Worth the stop and look at the caves as very beautiful. We had an excellent tour guide with very informative information about the caves. Great photography opportunities. Went for the 20 minute walk prior to the tour of the caves. The attraction site looked a bit sad as had a storm go through and brought down several big trees which... 更多
The tour of these caves is covered by the Kangaroo Island Pass, which is really good value for money. Our guide was extremely enthusiastic about the cave and had great knowledge of the history and the area. The caverns are well presented and time allowed for many lovely photos. The entrance is very steep steps which would not be suitable... 更多
Like most places on Kangaroo Island, this is a pretty special and unique place and well worth the effort required to get there. It's only a short (but steep) walk up to the caves entrance and quite a steep clamber down the steps to the viewing chambers, but once you're there, Mother Nature's beautiful sculptures, and colourful 'paint-work' can't help... 更多
Entry into the park grounds is free and visitors could take short walking trails around the main cave. Entry inside the cave though is only accessible as a part of the paid guided tour, which lasts about 45 minutes. Visitors who've already visited other caves in the past with stalactites and stalagmites could chose to skip this attraction. The grounds... 更多
