This is a nice market to visit while in Port Douglas. There are quite a few stalls and diverse range of things for sale. We found the most unusual wood that was carved as decorative pieces, something you will not find anywhere else!
We have been to many tourist area markets across SE Asia and back here in Australia and this one is pretty ordinary. With such a large community around Port Douglas you would have thought that it would be about 3 times the size it is. A good market with quite a good range of stuff available. We spent an hour here and came away with several good items. A good alternative to the tourist shops in the Main Street. I love a good market, and Port Douglas is my absolute favourite! It's held in a beautiful setting, under big, shady trees and by the sea. There is so much on offer!! If you've got nothing to do on a Sunday this is a great way to kill an hour or two with little amount of effort or money. Beautiful organic beauty products that I just fell in love with! Only down fall was there was little amount and variety of food, but besides that, everything was beautiful
