A sandy bay with the best sunsets for hundreds of kilometres or miles. Save swimming as there are little or no currents. At high tide you can walk along the promenade for miles. Margate and the Turner Contemporary are within 45 minutes walk.
A tidal sandy beach with a sloping shallow sea. Weather is more often than not warmer and sunnier than surrounding area. Nearby cafe is a real must see. A fabulous family day out.
A lovely little beach with a couple of shops, cafe and public toilets. Very flat and sandy for mile which means the water does not get deep for a long way out which is perfect for young children. The bay is sandy and safe with lifeguards on duty. It did not get crowded so there was plenty of room for them to play and build sandcastles. When the tide comes in... 更多
