Without a doubt, the cliff walk we took with Pat Sweeney was the best experience we had during our 10 days in Ireland. Pat grew up on the cliffs and has raised his children there too. He knows the cliffs like he knows the back of his hand and he speaks of them with such knowledge, pride, and love. If... 更多
Once in a lifetime hike! Amazing views, like nothing I have ever seen before. I was dropped off at the Hags Head car park, and walked to the visitor center. From there I took a shuttle back to Doolin for 6 euro. I took my time walking and it took me about 2 hours. Windy and wild! It gets a... 更多
great walk but be careful with the cliffs and rain gear and good hiking boots are a must! it's not that hard hike but the weather if not prepared can make it difficult!
When we arrived, the fog had settled over the cliffs, obscuring our view. So we waited 45 minutes in the gift shop and waited for it to clear. Well worth the wait.
We had seen these cliffs from below on the ferry the day before and were determined to see them from above as well. We were not disappointed. It is truly magnificent. To begin with the way the visitor centre has been built into the mountain and cannot really be seen is wonderful. The display inside is well worth the visit.... 更多
What a great hiking experience. We walked the trail all the way down to the point. A great way to escape some of the Cliffs crowds and really take in the beauty of your surroundings. Definitely wear your hiking boots and take advantage of this great trail.
Farmer Pat Sweeney was to say the least a very entertaining tour guide. His passion for 'his childhood playground ' was contagious. Tony his assistant was also incredibly knowledgeable. The pair made the sometimes difficult hike a truly memorable experience. Would seriously recommend this to anyone wanting to see the real Cliffs of Moher
My wife and I recently hiked the 8 km from the visitors center into Doolin and had an amazing experience. The path hugs the cliff for much of the hike and is not for the faint of heart, but well worth the effort. The literature claims that the 8 km can be done in 2 to 2.5 hours, but that... 更多
My fiancé and I wanted to hit the ground running (or hiking) to help us acclimate to Ireland after a transatlantic flight and a drive from Shannon airport to Doolin. So, we thought a hike along the Cliffs of Moher would be the perfect solution. We had heard about Pat Sweeney's Coastal Walk and thought that would be the best... 更多
My wife and I have had the pleasure of hiking in some pretty awesome places including Glacier NP, Grand Canyon, Bryce, Tetons, Zion, Multnomah Falls, Chimney Rock, Shenandoah NP, etc. All of these hikes are beautiful and breathtaking. But, nothing can compare to the hike from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher, especially with a guide such as Tony who... 更多
